The Wax Cream Technology
Thanks to its creamy texture, WoodCream ensures an easy and even application without dripping.
The wood pores remain open and air and water vapour can still pass through. Moisture regulation is retained.
The hydrophobic cream gives a long-lasting pearl effect which offers very durable protection against extreme weather conditions.
Water droplets slide off the wood, removing dirt particles from the surface. This reduces the risk of micro-organism growth (algae, molds, fungi) and prevents frost damage.
WoodCream preserves the natural look & feel of the wood. It doesn’t contain fillers, does not form a sealing layer (as opposed to paint, lacquers) and does not flake off, which allows for a longer lifespan.
Prepare the surface. Clean it with Exterior Wood Cleaner and rinse off the surface with clean water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, WoodCream offers UV protection, but regular maintenance is required to keep that protection effective. Please refer to the maintenance and warranty guidelines for details. Note: The Transparent (#0) version is an exception. It contains no UV filter, so while it still protects the wood and makes it water-repellent, it allows the wood to naturally age and grey over time.
DuroGrit and WoodCream differ in both application and finish. WoodCream is a wax-based, hydrophobic cream designed for vertical surfaces like cladding, fences, windows and doors. It offers strong water repellency, a self-cleaning effect, and a more opaque finish, making it ideal for colour changes or renovations without sanding. DuroGrit, in contrast, is a water-based oil with added wood fibers, developed to preserve the natural colour and prevent greying. It delivers a transparent, matte finish and is suitable for both vertical and horizontal surfaces such as terraces and garden furniture, thanks to its excellent UV and wear resistance.
WoodCream Softener is used to dilute WoodCream in various situations. It helps create a more transparent or aged look, especially when used with colours from the Grey Collection. It also improves application on rough-sawn, dry (<14% moisture) or highly porous wood, and is recommended when applying two layers for a more covering finish. Additionally, the Softener slows down drying, making it easier to apply in hot or sunny conditions. For maintenance and renovation, using the Softener is always required.
No, we do not recommend using WoodCream on outdoor furniture. WoodCream is specifically designed for vertical surfaces like cladding, fences, and doors. Outdoor furniture includes horizontal surfaces, which are more exposed to standing water and wear, making them unsuitable for this type of product.
Yes, it is possible to mix the colours with each other.
